"Since health care is expensive as it is, why should we be forced to purchase home care equipment for a short time? We are in partnership with West Mann Senior Services and Home Cares Recyclers" says Paul Elmore, President of the Rotary Club of West Marin, "and we now have a broad base of resources in Marin and Sonoma County to get home care equipment to people in need in West Marin". The West Marin Senior Services and Rotarians have access not only to the basic equipment listed above, but they can also locate hospital beds, wheelchairs, canes, and even oxygen supplies. The West Marin Rotary Club has agreed to help with pickup and delivery of medical equipment in West Marin. Rotary helpers can also deliver various surplus equipment from Senior Services to Home Cares, and is asking anyone with a pick-up truck to help with transporting some equipment to San Rafael or from San Rafael to West Marin. "We can always use more equipment for Marin and Sonoma Counties..." says Marilyn McConnell of Home Cares, "as we have had a wonderful relationship with the West Marin Senior Services all these years". The service is free of charge to anyone needing medical equipment.
